Hello and happy Saturday! I have a new junk journal kit in my shop called Shabby Pink Farmhouses, and it is so shabby chic with lots of soft pinks and creams. I have created a video where I made a journal using this kit so you can get an idea of how lovely it looks, and this is also a swap in the facebook group, where we will be swapping a single signature journal using this lovely printable kit. I’ve been working on a boho style junk journal, using my Sunny Boho Printable Journal Kit recently, and I decided it needed a bit of “bling”. Bohemian style makes me think of gypsies and rich colours, and beads, baubles and shiny things.
So I thought it would be nice to add some gold leaf into my journal.
In the following video, I show you how you can add that bit of sparkle to your journal cards, or anywhere in your journal for that matter.

Hi peeps. In the following video I show you how to make a Junk Journal Cover with a soft spine.
I used an old book cover for the front and back, covered it with fabric and then made the soft spine with some grungy papers and fabric. I have a video tutorial on how to create your own grungy papers here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OG2OntV1S0https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OG2OntV1S0
I then glued the spine to the cover and put in some eyelets, and threaded some silk ribbon through the holes.
